Summer of Fun

We were so lucky to be awarded £10,000 from Amazon to run a Summer of Fun giving children opportunities they wouldn’t normally have due to the current cost of living crisis. Over the holidays we had 37 sessions ranging from role play to a beach trip. We commissioned Little City and WiggleWaggle to run sessions and took our SEND families to Thames Valley Adventure Playground and our new Reach families to Hounslow Urban Farm.
Supporting perinatal mental health through Hounslow Family Hubs

The relationship between you and your baby is so important for their development but requires work and time. Many parents or carers of babies can feel overwhelmed and may lack confidence. You may find, when you become a parent, that it triggers difficult feelings about yourself, your partner or your baby.
New SEN in Practice Foundation Degree
Following on from the success of the Early Years (EY) Foundation degree, we have embarked on our first year of the Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Practice (SENIP) Foundation degree. With many of the original EY cohort now boasting undergraduate degrees (opening up a number of career avenues including teacher training), we are excited to provide a pathway for professionals that work with young people with SEN to work towards a degree will they continue their day job.
